An innovative new fundraising campaign, created and setup by hjc, has been featured in the New York Times. WhatIDidNotBuy.org invites users to divert the money they would have spent on the usual holiday gifts such as socks, ties and sweaters and instead contribute to vital projects run by BRAC USA, a giant development and aid organization started in Bangladesh.
The site got off to a tremendous start when it was launched on December 10th and it is already creating ripples in the media, across twitter and the blog world.
