The Challenge

COVID and the Ukranian Invasion has accelerated a number of challenges for both organizations. They wanted better tactics and strategies to convert a huge influx of one-time gift donors to Ukraine. In addition, they wanted to use data and technology more effectively for ALL of their donors. Finally, they wanted both organizations to work better together in Switzerland where they both compete and collaborate.

Our Approach

Over 4 months in 2022 and 2023, hjc took a cross functional team from both organizations through a discovery process; 4 online preparatory webinars; a one day on-site journey mapping session in Geneva; and a post session engagement to better structure an action plan for improved fundraising.

The Result

Both organizations were able to refine their target audiences; create journeys and work cross functionally to uncover over 80 innovations, improvements and ideas to be executed over the next few years. These will be pilots that will be implemented immediately and in the next 2 fiscal years.

hjc’s process was simply expert and effective. They were comprehensive in gathering our materials in preparation for our mapping. Then, Mike’s facilitation of the session in Geneva was precise, fun, and focused. Finally, hjc led us through the creation of an action plan that was realistic but still inspirational.
